[Welcome to the Skinny Jean Gardener Blog. I don’t usually blog and for very good reason. But if you would like a blogger that misspells, doesn’t use punuation and writes in quite a strong Essex accent then I am you man. That is a rather niche blogging style! And heres the only place you’ll find it! Enjoy!..]

Its been a while peeps, but I needed to show up on here for a second to talk about this quickly before the weekend. For almost 3 years.. maybe embarrassingly more ive promised Richard and his lovely wife that I will visit their Maze Garden for the open day they do for the gardening charity Perennial. Each year we bump into each other at various gardening event, have a lovely chat and catch up that end with me saying 100% ill be seeing you this august for the open day.. which usually ends up with my diary or life not allowing. This years no different, with SJG becoming increasingly more busy. I think next time I see them I will say yes I will 100% come in the next decade!

The thing is, sometimes just to be polite I say “yeh sure, ill see what I can do to be there”, but actually this isn’t one of them cases. Getting to know them and the hard work that goes into the event I am so keen to get down their to see what they do, that each year I feel like im really missing out.

So here I am, saying if you are about on Sunday 5th then I 100% think you should visit Maze Garden for their incredible charity event that they do each year. The details are..
